Did you know the first GPS is in the bible? How does a potatoes field become one of the most visited sites in Israel? What secrets were hidden for 2 millennia in desert caves?

This tour, Is a combination of 3 tours: Ancient Shilo & Gvaot Winery Tour, Biblical Jerusalem Tour and a Mix the two Dead Sea tours.

On this 3 day experience, We will journey through the pages of the bible, witness the rise and fall of key moments that continue to shape the Land’s identity today.


Day 1: Shiloh & Winery Tour: New Horizons on ancient land

• Drive through sumeria on our way to Shilo and witness what Judea and sumeriah looks like beyond the headlines.

• We’ll start at Shiloh archaeological site, the ancient city that was once the spiritual centre of Israel.

• Explore the ancient Tabernacle site, the place where the jews worshipped before the building of the Temple in Jerusalem. Learn about the deep historical and spiritual significance of this site.

• See the 9 unique extremely rare red heifersthe reddish brown cows sacrificed by Temple priests.

• Next, head to Gvaot  Winery, were we will enjoy lunch.

• Taste of some of Israel’s finest wines. Discover the unique winemaking process and enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard surrounded by views of the beautiful hills.

 

Day 2: Biblical Jerusalem Tour: Step into the Bible

• We’ll begin at the City of David, where the foundations of Jerusalem were first laid thousands of years ago.
Here, you’ll discover incredible archaeological findings that bring biblical events to life.

• Optionally, walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel, a 550-meter-long manmade water tunnel that protected the city’s water supply from enemy forces.

• We’ll visit the Siloam Pool Excavations, home to the largest ritual bath in Israel.

• Next, we’ll explore Second Temple Period Jerusalem at the Givaty Parking Lot Excavations, where you’ll see the remains of Roman villas and walk through a Roman drainage tunnel.

• We’ll then head to the Ophel Archaeological Park (Davidson Center), where you’ll walk the same monumental steps once ascended by pilgrims on their way to the Temple.

• Lunch in the Jewish quarter

• We will continue to the big menorah and map room, and debunk historical reality and artistic depiction.

• See the remains of King Hezekiah’s wall, built to protect the city from the approaching enemy.

• From there, we’ll visit David’s Tomb, a sacred site for Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike.

• We’ll also visit the Room of the Last Supper, followed by a walk up to the rooftop to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Jerusalem.

• Finally, we’ll stroll along the Old City walls, and walk to Jaffa gate.

Day 3: Masada & Dead Sea Tour: From Majesty to ruin

• We begin early with a scenic drive through the Judean Desert, descending below sea level as the landscape transforms.

Qumran, the archaeological site where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were hidden for nearly 2,000 years.

• Explore the ruins and hear the fascinating story of a mysterious desert community that wrote the scrolls and changed history.

• Early Lunch in ‘asado bamidbar food truck’ for a truly a great meal (no dairy) OR Lunch can be after Masada if preferred.  

• From there, we’ll drive to Masada and ascend Masada by cable car and explore King Herod’s fortress.

• As we walk through the ancient palaces, storerooms, and bathhouses, we’ll delve into the powerful story of one of the most dramatic last stands in Jewish history.

• We’ll head down to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Here, you’ll experience the surreal sensation of floating effortlessly on its mineral-rich waters, all while soaking in the stunning desert scenery.

    Site entrance fees are not included in the tour price. These will be calculated at the time of booking, based on the number of participants and the specific sites you’d like to visit.

    I recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons, to secure your preferred date.

    A deposit through PayPal may be required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of the tour.
