“Annaelle is a find!

We went to Israel in March 2025 for our honeymoon.  My husband and I are the kind of people who love adventuring and learning about the cities we are visiting.

We first met Annaelle when she was our tour guide on a group tour for the underground tunnels of the City of David.  She was so engaging and excited to share stories, we asked if she’d be able to do private tours of the Jerusalem and the Tower of David and Masada.  She said yes and we had an epic time.

Annaelle is a unique guide in that she tailors tours (if private obviously) to you and your group.  She asks questions that allows her to assess your level of interests in different areas, time periods, amount of religious content, etc…She individualizes the tour to you sharing stories, visual aids, and props (in our case, she brought snacks that resembled what the people would have eaten in Masada) to enhance your experience.

She welcomes questions and is not offended if you choose to skip parts of the tour.

Additionally, she is VERY knowledgeable.  Don’t assume if she doesn’t bring something up, it’s because she doesn’t know.  If you ask her, she is able to go into detail on events and even able connect them back to what has already been discussed.  If she doesn’t know, which is very rare, she is upfront about it but will research it and get back to you after the tour if you so wish.

She is cognizant of peoples’s abilities and comfort levels and easily accommodates you.  If you want to walk in the heat, she’ll walk, at your pace, with you.   If you’d prefer to take an elevator or chair lift, that’s ok too.
